Making government more transparent and ending interprovincial trade barriers emerged as the top priorities for making Canada more competitive in a globalized era. The lowest priority is to improve the financial services sector. These are the key findings from the assessment of 10 issues by CEOs and business leaders on the COMPAS business panel.

These are among the findings from this past week's Internet survey of CEOs and business leaders on the COMPAS panel. The weekly business survey is undertaken for Canadian Business magazine.
